Airplane Mode Settings in Windows 11: Video

Overview of the Airplane Mode Settings in Windows 11:

            To show the airplane mode settings in Windows 11, open the “Settings” app window. Then click the “Network & internet” button at the left side of the screen to show the network and internet settings for your computer to the right.

            To enable airplane mode in Windows 11 and turn off all your device’s wireless and Bluetooth connections, click the “Airplane mode” setting’s toggle switch that appears to the right to toggle it to the “On” position. Alternatively, to turn off airplane mode in Windows 11, click the “Airplane mode” toggle switch to toggle it to the “Off” position.

            Alternatively, to turn airplane mode on or off in Windows 11 or shut off wireless or Bluetooth communication independently of one another, open the “Settings” app window. Then click the “Network & internet” button at the left side of the screen to show the network and internet settings for your computer to the right.

            Then click the “Airplane mode” setting button to the right to show airplane mode settings at the right side of the “Settings” app window. To enable airplane mode, then click the “Airplane mode” toggle switch that appears to toggle it to the “On” position. Alternatively, to turn off airplane mode, click the “Airplane mode” toggle switch to toggle it to the “Off” position.

            To independently turn wireless or Bluetooth communications from your device on or off, click the “Wi-Fi” and/or “Bluetooth” settings’ toggle switches to toggle them “On” or “Off,” as needed, under the “Wireless devices” section of the “Airplane mode” settings. To close the “Settings” app window, when finished, click the “X” button in its upper-right corner.

Instructions on How to Change the Airplane Mode Settings in Windows 11:

  1. To show the airplane mode settings in Windows 11, open the “Settings” app window.
  2. Then click the “Network & internet” button at the left side of the screen to show the network and internet settings for your computer to the right.
  3. To enable airplane mode in Windows 11 and turn off all your device’s wireless and Bluetooth connections, click the “Airplane mode” setting’s toggle switch that appears to the right to toggle it to the “On” position.
  4. Alternatively, to turn off airplane mode in Windows 11, click the “Airplane mode” toggle switch to toggle it to the “Off” position.
  5. Alternatively, to turn airplane mode on or off in Windows 11 or shut off wireless or Bluetooth communication independently of one another, open the “Settings” app window.
  6. Then click the “Network & internet” button at the left side of the screen to show the network and internet settings for your computer to the right.
  7. Then click the “Airplane mode” setting button to the right to show airplane mode settings at the right side of the “Settings” app window.
  8. To enable airplane mode, then click the “Airplane mode” toggle switch that appears to toggle it to the “On” position.
  9. Alternatively, to turn off airplane mode, click the “Airplane mode” toggle switch to toggle it to the “Off” position.
  10. To independently turn wireless or Bluetooth communications from your device on or off, click the “Wi-Fi” and/or “Bluetooth” settings’ toggle switches to toggle them “On” or “Off,” as needed, under the “Wireless devices” section of the “Airplane mode” settings.
  11. To close the “Settings” app window, when finished, click the “X” button in its upper-right corner.
