Crystal Reports Keyboard Shortcuts- Overview

Crystal Reports keyboard shortcuts can be a valuable timesaver for both new and experienced users. While much of the work in Crystal Reports is in designing the layout of the reports and ensuring accurate data connections, the Crystal Reports keyboard shortcuts can assist you in performing commonly used Menu Bar commands. For example, commonly accessed commands, like “Save” and “Print” can be accessed much more quickly by using the Crystal Reports keyboard shortcuts versus the Menu Bar.

Crystal Reports keyboard shortcuts are also very useful when creating formulas within the “Formula Editor” dialog box for more advanced report creators. The “Check for Errors” keyboard shortcut is very useful as a quick check on a formula before saving it. You can also use Crystal Reports keyboard shortcuts to quickly toggle the display of trees on and off within the Formula Editor window, such as the “Functions” and “Operators” trees (as shown below).
