Our History
2001
The Beginning
TeachUcomp, Inc. was founded on March 15, 2001 in Holt, Michigan as a classroom training center. On July 9, our first training (Intermediate Quattro Pro) started at 8:30 - with one student.
2002
Our First Product
Our first self-study course launches. Mastering QuickBooks Made Easy v. 2002 came on three CD-ROMs.
2004
Online Learning
TeachUcomp begins offering training online.
2006
Changes
We conducted our last classroom training, shifted operations to self-study and moved our offices to East Lansing, MI.
2008
Continuing Education
Our first course is approved for Continuing Professional Education credit for accountants and Enrolled Agents.
2011
Moving
We purchased and moved into our current facility in East Lansing.
2012
Courses for Lawyers
Our product line expands to include courses specifically designed for attorneys and law practice management.
2014
Quick Reference Cards
Our new product line launches with our first Quick Reference Card for QuickBooks.
2016
NASBA Registry
TeachUcomp, Inc. is approved by the National Association of State Board of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
2018
Redesigned LMS
Our brand new Learning Management System launches, feature improved course navigation and tracking, online quizzes, final exams, and certificates of completion vastly improving student experience.
