Play a Slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC: Video Lesson

This video lesson, titled “Playing Slideshows,” shows you how to play a slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC. This video lesson is from our complete Lightroom Classic CC tutorial, titled “Mastering Lightroom Made Easy v.CC.”

Play a Slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC: Overview

This lesson shows you how to play a slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC. Unlike previewing the slideshow, playing a slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC fills the entire computer screen. It also hides the Lightroom interface. To play a slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC, open a slideshow in the Slideshow module. Then click the “Play” button at the bottom of the right panel grouping. The presentation then starts its playback and also fills the entire screen.

As the slideshow plays, you can override the “Automatic” slideshow mode playback settings, if applied, by using keyboard shortcuts. If you applied a “Manual” slideshow mode, instead, then you must use these keyboard shortcuts to manually play the slideshow.

Press the right arrow key to advance to the next slide. Press the left arrow key to go back one slide. You can press the spacebar to both pause and also resume playback of the slideshow. Press the “Esc” key to end the slideshow and return to the Lightroom Classic CC interface.
