Live Classes Policies and Disclaimers
In the unlikely event TEACHUCOMP needs to cancel an instructor-led class because the class date has not met minimum enrollment (determined 2-3 weeks prior) or postpone a class due to circumstances beyond our control, registered students will be notified as quickly as possible. In such cases, the student may choose to reschedule to a future class date at no additional charge or cancel with refund if any money is on account for that specific registration.
CANCELLATION/POSTPONEMENT BY TEACHUCOMP
IF REQUESTED 15 OR MORE CALENDAR DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS DATE:
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE BY STUDENT
Cancellation or reschedule requests received 15 calendar days or more before the class starts will be processed promptly.
- Cancellation requests made in this timeframe are eligible for refund of money on account for this specific registration.
- Reschedule requests made in this timeframe will be accommodated if availability exists and will be processed at no additional charge.
Cancellation or reschedule requests made 14 calendar days or less before the class starts will be charged 100% of the course fee and are not entitled to a refund. The student has one (1) opportunity to use our Make-Up policy to have those funds applied to a later class date.
If you are unable to attend your class, a substitute who meets the course prerequisites may attend in your place at no additional charge for the original class title and date. If you cannot find a substitute, you will be subject to the class cancellation policy.
Students are permitted one (1) Make-Up opportunity to attend an instructor-led class that was paid for but not previously attended for no additional charge.
- Make-Up class registrations are subject to availability and are not entitled to refund.
- You must CALL 1-877-925-8080 (9-5 Eastern Monday-Friday) and speak with one of our Education Advisors to schedule your Make-up class.
- Students may not reschedule a Make-up class registration. Any no-shows or cancellations forfeit their one Make-up opportunity. Additionally, TEACHUCOMP reserves the right to retire courses due to lack of demand. Retired classes are not available for Make-Up.
Prerequisites are listed on our course outlines for students to assess their suitability for a class. Additionally, TEACHUCOMP’s advisors may be able to help you determine an appropriate level. Should a student lack the prerequisite skills for class or fail to maintain a professional demeanor in class, TEACHUCOMP may exercise the following options:
SKILLS & DECORUM
If an instructor finds a student lacks the class prerequisite skills and is slowing down the overall class pace, the instructor may excuse the student and remove them from the class. Per our Make-up Policy, excused students may repeat the class once at no additional charge after remedying the issue causing the excusal, such as learning the necessary prerequisite skills.
To maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning for all, TEACHUCOMP reserves the right to dismiss a participant who harasses other participants, the instructor, or who in TEACHUCOMP's judgment acts inappropriately or disruptively. NOTE: In the case of dismissal or instructor excusal, TEACHUCOMP’s liability is limited to a refund of the class fee paid by the participant or participant's organization. TEACHUCOMP is not responsible for any consequential loss or inconvenience arising from the adjusted status.
NOTE: In the case of dismissal or choice by a Restricted Participation student to leave class at the time of status change, TEACHUCOMP’s liability will be limited to a refund of the class fee already paid by the participant/participant's organization. TEACHUCOMP shall not be responsible for any consequential loss or inconvenience arising from the adjusted status.

Free Trial Promotional Terms
Offer is valid from the date of this message and is a credit that will be applied against the cost of a promotional trial of a new annual or monthly subscription for the identified TeachUcomp service. Offer valid only for members who have not previously used a similar promotional trial offer.
In order to redeem this offer, you must register and provide your payment information to TeachUcomp, Inc. before the expiration date above. Services are sold on a subscription basis and are automatically charged to your payment method at the beginning of each subscription period. You will be charged the standard annual or monthly rate (presented to you before you subscribed) when your promotional trial period ends unless you cancel your TeachUcomp, Inc. subscription before the end of the promotional trial period. If you don't want the subscription to continue or to be charged for the service, you must cancel it before the end of the promotional trial period. Thereafter, you must cancel the subscription before the end of the then-current subscription period to avoid being charged for the next subscription period. Except for certain periods of time at the beginning of a subscription as specified in our refund policy, TeachUcomp, Inc. does not offer refunds on any fees and charges related to your account, including partially used periods. An exception we may consider is providing a refund when we've updated your payment information and there is good reason to believe you did not intend for an update to be made.
