This video lesson, titled “Sharing Web Pages in Microsoft Edge,” shows you how to share a web page in Microsoft Edge in Windows 11. This video lesson is from our complete Windows 11 tutorial, titled “Mastering Windows Made Easy v.11.”

Overview of How to Share a Web Page in Microsoft Edge:

To share a web page in Microsoft Edge in Windows 11 with another person, click the “More options” button in the toolbar at the top of the Microsoft Edge window. Then select the “Share” command in the drop-down menu to open the Share pane under the address bar. The Share pane shows the web page link at the top of the pane, the apps you can use to share the web page with others in the “Share with others” section, and a button that lets you email it to yourself in the “Email to myself” section.

To copy the web page link to your clipboard so you can paste it into another application to share the link that way, click the “Copy link” hyperlink at the top of the Share pane. Then just paste the copied link into whichever app you want to use to share the link.

Alternatively, to share the link with others using an app, click the name of the desired app to use in the “Share with others” section to open that app and set the link sharing options in the selected app. This process changes, based on the app you select.

Alternatively, to email the link to yourself, click to select your email under the “Email to myself” section. If needed, to add your email address in Microsoft Edge, instead click the “Add email address” button under the “Email to myself” section to open an “Add my email address” pane. In this pane, select the app to use to send the email from the “Choose my email provider” drop-down and enter your email address into the “Email address” field. Then click the “Save” button to save the address into Microsoft Edge.
