How to Change the Subscriptions and Billing Settings in QuickBooks Online: Video

Overview:

            To customize your company’s subscriptions and billing settings in QuickBooks Online, click the “Settings” button in the QuickBooks Online toolbar. Then click the “Subscriptions and billing” link under the “Profile” heading in the menu to open a page that shows your billing information and subscriptions in the page content area.

            Your “Company ID” and “Payment method” appear at the top of the page. To change your billing information, click the pencil icon to the right of the current billing info to open an “Edit payment” pane at the right side of the window. Here, click the “+ Add payment method” link to enter your new billing information and then click the “Save and use” button to update it and set it as the new payment method.

            Back in the page, your subscription widgets appear below your billing info. Current subscription widgets appear in color and inactive subscription widgets appear in black and white. You can click a widget’s links to manage its related plans or learn more about them. There are widgets for QuickBooks Online and its related services.

            Active subscription widgets contain links that you can click to open web pages where you can change or view the link’s related settings. These links include “Upgrade your plan,” “Downgrade your plan,” “View payment history,” and “Cancel subscription.” You can then close these web pages after using them.
