Video Lesson on How to Double Space in Word:
This video lesson, titled “Word 2019 and 365 Tutorial Line Spacing and Paragraph Spacing Microsoft Training,” shows how to double space in Word. This video lesson is from our complete Word tutorial, titled “Mastering Word Made Easy.”
Overview of How to Add Double Spacing to Word Documents:
To quickly double space the lines of selected paragraphs in Word, click the “Line and Paragraph Spacing” button in the “Paragraph” button group on the “Home” tab of the Ribbon. Then select the “2.0” choice in the drop-down menu that appears. Doing this then applies double spacing to the lines in the selected paragraphs.
Alternatively, to apply double line spacing in Word to selected paragraphs, you can also click the “Paragraph” dialog box button in the lower-right corner of the “Paragraph” button group on the “Home” tab of the Ribbon to open the “Paragraph” dialog box. Then click the “Indents and Spacing” tab in this dialog box. Then use the “Line spacing” drop-down to select the “Double” choice. Finally, click the “OK” button at the bottom of the “Paragraph” dialog box. One advantage of using this longer method is that you can also set paragraph indentation and spacing here, too, if desired.
